This micro lot is from CoopeTarrazú, a cooperative of over 3,500 producers and associates that prioritizes sustainability and the welfare of their partners. The cooperative provides hands-on technical assistance and invests in solutions to combat challenges like coffee rust. Each coffee exported by CoopeTarrazú is grown at an elevation of 1,200 to 1,900 masl. Harvest takes place during the region’s dry season, from November to March, which contributes to coffee uniformity and the ability to process the coffee by sun-drying.
