Max and Claudia began their farm, La Hermosa, 13 years ago and worked hard to regenerate the land, plant an array of coffee varieties and employ dozens of people in their community. We have sourced coffee from them for our core blend, Upside, for over 2 years and now we are excited to bring in this special pink bourbon as a limited offering. While pink bourbon was originally thought to be a cross of two bourbon varieties, it turns out that it is actually an Ethiopian landrace variety and it's still unknown how exactly it made its way to Latin America. Known for its delicate acidity and fruit notes, we think you'll enjoy this coffee that hinted at orange marmalade and cocoa.
